Last Sunday (25 June 2007) was Freedom Sunday - celebrating the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade, yet slavery is still happening in our world today. Over twelve million people worldwide are subject to forced labour and 2.4 million of these as a result of human trafficking. A petition has been set up on the Downing Street website to bring the attention of human trafficking back to the Prime Minister. Please log on to the link below to show your support to stop the 21st century slave trade of men. women and children. Go on - it will take less then a minute - but will change lives........ Thank you, Allan Dixon
Petition Text: We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Do more to eradicate human trafficking in the U.K and the world. Deadline 22 September 2007
